Shigra Bags
Bags made out of Sisal - Shigras

Description: The Bags, called Shigras, are hand woven in Sisal, a natural fiber. The bags are woven by Ecuadorian Indigenous, who have traditionally used them to transport seeds, food and/or personal items.

Colors and Patterns: The colors mostly used to knit the bags are earth colors, blue, black, red, the natural color of the sisal. These colors are combined in different patterns that are unique in each bag.

Finish: The bags have lining and one or two pockets depending on the model. The bag handels are made of leather or cloth, depending on the model and the color used matches the bag.

Sizes: The sizes of the bags may vary from bag to bag, since they are all handmade. The shigra bags are either small, medium, large and xlarge.
